A well traveled mamma

Koya is a shepherd mix originally from Beirut, Lebanon. She was living on the street with her puppies when she was found. Later in her first US foster home, she was attacked by another dog. To put it mildly, Koya was cautious on and off leash. She did not like other dogs or anything unfamiliar when we first met her and her family. Taking time to learn just who Koya is, and catering our everyday to those needs, has ultimately made her more comfortable, and the pup she is today. Comfortable on leash, great with her baby (human) sister, it took time, but Miss Koya is an absolute happy pup.
